Offramp, a crypto-native cross-border finance platform, has announced that it is shutting down and will wind down operations in stages through the end of 2026. In its official notice, the team said the decision came after significant deliberation and was driven by current market conditions, which made it difficult to continue building the platform. Rather than cutting access immediately, Offramp said it would provide users with a structured offboarding process so they have time to withdraw funds, close positions, and resolve any remaining account activity.
The company also recommended that users manage the shutdown process through its web application at app.offramp.xyz, which it described as the best way to access accounts and handle withdrawals during the transition. While the notice did not provide financial metrics or operational details beyond the closure timeline, it laid out a clear sequence of product shutdowns spanning fiat services, crypto transfers, virtual accounts, payment cards, and Savings & Investments.
Changes effective from July 1, 2026
Offramp said that, as of July 1, 2026, several services have already been disabled. Instant transfers are no longer available, and QR payments have also been turned off. For virtual accounts, the platform has stopped allowing new account creation, although users who already have a virtual account can continue using it until September 30, 2026. That gives existing customers a limited transition window to unwind payment flows and recurring arrangements tied to those accounts.
Within the Savings & Investments product, new deposits and stock purchases have been disabled as well. However, users can still sell existing holdings and withdraw their balances until December 31, 2026. On the card side, new physical card orders are no longer accepted, but already issued cards remain operational for now. Offramp also confirmed that its mobile application has been delisted from both the App Store and Google Play. Users who already have the app installed can continue using it only until July 31, 2026.
July 31, 2026: fiat services and crypto deposits end
The next major milestone is July 31, 2026. On that date, Offramp will fully disable fiat deposits and fiat withdrawals. The company explicitly instructed users to withdraw any remaining fiat balance before that deadline, noting that fiat functionality will be completely unavailable afterward. For users still holding cash balances on the platform, this is the most immediate cutoff to address.
Crypto deposits will also be disabled on July 31. Offramp specifically warned users not to send any crypto to their Offramp deposit addresses after that date. At the same time, both physical and virtual cards will stop working for spending. Even so, the company said that refunds and disputes related to prior card transactions may still be requested and processed until September 30, 2026, giving cardholders an additional two months to resolve legacy issues.
Another operational change tied to July 31 is the end of the mobile app. After that date, the app will stop functioning entirely. Users will still be able to access their accounts through the web app, which effectively becomes the only remaining interface for managing balances, withdrawals, and support interactions during the later stages of the wind-down.
September 30, 2026: virtual accounts and crypto withdrawals close
Offramp said that September 30, 2026 marks the full shutdown of virtual accounts. Users were instructed to cancel any recurring deposits linked to those accounts before the deadline, a step intended to avoid failed transfers or funds being routed into a discontinued setup. This is especially relevant for customers who used virtual accounts as part of payroll, recurring settlements, or inbound transfer workflows.
Crypto withdrawals will also be disabled on September 30. According to the notice, any remaining crypto balance after that point will be transferred into the user’s embedded wallet. If a user needs help accessing that wallet, Offramp said support is available via contact@offramp.xyz. In parallel, card dispute support will end on the same date, meaning all refund requests and disputes related to prior card transactions must be submitted before September 30 to be considered.
December 31, 2026: Savings & Investments and the full platform shut down
The final deadline in Offramp’s shutdown plan is December 31, 2026. On that date, the Savings & Investments product will be fully closed. The company urged users to liquidate any remaining holdings and withdraw related balances before year-end. This applies to all residual positions inside that product, including stock exposure that can still be sold during the transition period.
Offramp further stated that after December 31, the entire platform will be fully closed. In practical terms, this means the wind-down will not be limited to a single service line; instead, all remaining Offramp operations and access points are expected to cease once the final cutoff arrives. Users with investment balances, savings positions, or unresolved account matters therefore need to complete all actions before the platform reaches that endpoint.
User guidance and official contact channels
In the closing section of its announcement, Offramp thanked users for their support over the years and gave a specific shoutout to members of its Discord community who had been with the project since the beginning. The tone of the statement was emotional but operationally direct: the platform is ending, and the remaining period is meant for users to exit in an orderly manner rather than continue normal usage.
For support, Offramp said users can contact the team through contact@offramp.xyz or through in-app chat while access remains available. Based on the published timeline, the key action points are straightforward: withdraw fiat before July 31, complete crypto withdrawals before September 30, and liquidate all Savings & Investments holdings before December 31, 2026. The original notice was published on Offramp’s official blog and serves as the primary source for the shutdown schedule.
