OKX released its 43rd Proof of Reserves on June 1, with the latest asset snapshot captured on May 7, 2026. The report highlights a month-over-month decrease in user holdings of both Bitcoin and Ethereum on the exchange, while the stablecoin USDT registered a slight increase. This ongoing transparency initiative, in place since late 2022, allows users to verify the platform's reserves.

According to the data, user-held Bitcoin totalled roughly 110,000 BTC, a decline of 5,851 BTC or 5% compared to the previous snapshot taken on April 20. This implies that the earlier figure stood at approximately 115,851 BTC. Ethereum holdings ended at about 1,556,000 ETH, down 50,140 ETH, representing a 3.12% drop from an estimated 1,606,140 ETH on April 20. Over the one-month period, both flagship assets saw a notable contraction in customer balances.

In contrast, USDT balances moved higher. USDT holdings climbed to around 10.243 billion, marking a 0.28% increase from April 20's calculated 10.216 billion, or a net addition of roughly 27.12 million USDT. The mixed movements resulted in a slight divergence in the platform's asset structure, with reductions in major cryptocurrencies alongside a modest uptick in stablecoin reserves.

The 43rd proof continues OKX's practice of demonstrating 1:1 backing of user funds and reinforcing trust through regular, verifiable reserve disclosures.
