Haider Rafique, OKX’s global managing partner and chief marketing officer, is planning to leave the crypto exchange by the end of 2026, according to Bloomberg, which cited people familiar with the matter. An OKX spokesperson and Rafique both declined to comment. Rafique joined OKX in March 2020 and went on to lead the exchange’s brand overhaul. He also helped drive partnerships with organizations including the McLaren Formula 1 team and the Tribeca Festival. Bloomberg’s report said Rafique was also involved in securing Intercontinental Exchange’s $200 million strategic investment in OKX in March this year. That transaction valued OKX at $25 billion. The report focuses on a planned executive departure and the role Rafique played in the company’s branding and strategic partnership efforts during his time at the exchange.
