An address identified on DeBank as musti_akrep made off with 23.75 million USDC by exploiting a vulnerability on perpetual DEX Ostium, according to on-chain analyst Ember. The address, shown as 0x321...bfd9, withdrew the funds and moved them onto Arbitrum. Soon after, the USDC was exchanged for 12,085 ETH at a transaction price of $1,965 per ETH. Odaily reported that an address labeled musti_akrep on DeBank, 0x321...bfd9, profited by exploiting a vulnerability on perpetual DEX Ostium, according to on-chain analyst Ember.
Ember said the address took out 23.75 million USDC around one and a half hours before the update. The USDC was then moved to Arbitrum and immediately swapped for 12,085 ETH at $1,965.
At the time of the report, the 12,085 ETH was still being held on Arbitrum.
