ChainCatcher reported that, according to monitoring by PeckShield, the OLPC/LABUBU liquidity pool on PancakeSwap on BNB Chain was attacked. The attacker stole assets worth approximately $1.1 million. The incident involves PancakeSwap, BNB Chain, and the OLPC/LABUBU liquidity pool, while the details of the attack remain under tracking.

Stolen funds were bridged to Ethereum

After the incident, the attacker transferred the stolen funds across chains to Ethereum. The attacker then deposited 633.4 ETH into the mixing protocol Tornado Cash. Following the movement from BNB Chain to Ethereum and the deposit into Tornado Cash, on-chain tracking continues to focus on the cross-chain transfer records, the deposit transactions, and the related addresses.

PeckShield’s monitoring also showed that the attacker sent 0.0221 BNB and 0.0411 ETH to a deprecated address. At the time of the ChainCatcher report, the specific attack details and the flow of funds were still being tracked.
