Hyperinsight said on July 31 that a Polymarket trader operating under the name "BearKingdom" has built positions tied to both U.S. politics and a pullback in risk assets. On Polymarket, the trader is betting Democrats will control Congress after the 2026 midterm elections and that the CLARITY Act will not be signed into law in 2026. Across six positions, the account has put in about $164,100 and those holdings are now worth roughly $193,800, leaving an unrealized gain of about $29,700. On Hyperliquid, the same trader is running three short positions with a combined notional value of about $6.492 million. The positions target the S&P 500, SK Hynix, and CXMT, and are showing a net unrealized loss of about $148,300. Hyperinsight also linked a Hyperliquid external wallet starting with 0x48d to the Polymarket account "BearKingdom" and its proxy wallet beginning with 0xabe. While the contracts on the two platforms are not tied to the same event, the positioning points in a similar direction: a bet on Democrats regaining Congress, slower progress on crypto regulation, and pressure on U.S. equities and memory stocks.
