BlockBeats reported on September 1 that Lookonchain's monitoring flagged an address which bought 7.99 million PONS tokens one month ago. The purchase cost 181 ETH, worth approximately $443,000 at that time. The token price then fell, and the address sold all 7.99 million PONS, receiving 135,000 USDG in return. That trade produced a realized net loss of $308,000, since the proceeds were far below the original outlay. Based on current prices, the same 7.99 million PONS tokens are now valued at $3.46 million. Had the address not sold, the position would have generated a profit of more than $3 million. Lookonchain provided the on-chain data, BlockBeats relayed the details, and the address itself was not publicly identified. The figures illustrate the gap between a locked-in loss and the profit that would have been available if the position had been kept.

BlockBeats reported on September 1 that an address tracked by Lookonchain bought 7.99 million PONS tokens a month ago for 181 ETH, then worth about $443,000. Then the token fell. The address dumped all 7.99 million PONS and got back 135,000 USDG, locking in a net loss of around $308,000.

Now those same 7.99 million PONS are valued at roughly $3.46 million at current prices. A hold instead of a sale would have turned the position into more than $3 million in profit. Lookonchain spotted the trades through on-chain monitoring, and BlockBeats passed along the information. The report did not identify the address.
