Pons founder Ozzy said on Oct. 2 that the project has officially moved into V3 mode. The update is aimed mainly at newly launched tokens, while V1 and V2 contracts will remain unchanged and existing tokens will not need any adjustments. Ozzy said the decision on whether V3 tokens should continue using a Bonding Curve will now be left to creators. He linked that change to user feedback, including concerns over limited visibility around the Bonding Curve mechanism. Ozzy also described V3 as a model designed to bring in more revenue, reduce "vampire" behavior, improve trader mechanics, and cut down on extraction, while keeping the community first.
