According to the report, the attacker used a flaw in the signing function of the realio.fund interface and moved assets across five networks: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Algorand, Stellar and Realio’s native chain.
Where the stolen tokens came from
Realio Network said the attacker took about 10.7 million RIO from 2,374 user accounts. Another 113.7 million RIO came from the treasury reserve.
The project has paused operation of its native chain and access to its web app. Its team said it is investigating the incident and tracking the stolen funds.
MEXC and KuCoin have suspended RIO deposits. Realio said it is preparing a compensation plan, but no details have been disclosed.
