Odaily reported that Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, said in a post that the recent decline in gold and silver prices does not determine his decision to buy or sell assets. He explained that he has made many mistakes in the past, and one of them was allowing price to influence his investment judgment too much.
Kiyosaki said he now pays more attention to the “environment” surrounding an asset and the broader macro backdrop, rather than focusing only on short-term price fluctuations. According to his comments, poor global economic management may cause existing problems to continue worsening.
Against that backdrop, he said he is watching the technical trends of gold, silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum, and is waiting for prices to finish their downtrends before making purchases. He also stated that the technical charts for gold and silver show they may be in a stage before a large rise, while reminding investors to make their own judgments and not blindly rely on other people’s views.
