SecondFi, a wallet service provider for Cardano, has launched an updated wallet migration tool, according to an official announcement cited by BlockBeats on Sept. 9. The new version is aimed at users who have already delegated ADA to a staking pool but do not hold enough balance in their wallets to cover network fees required for migration. In those cases, SecondFi will pay the related on-chain costs on the user’s behalf.
The update also changes how balances appear inside the app. Staked ADA is now included in the in-app asset overview, which means users who previously saw a zero balance in the application should now be able to view their delegated holdings. SecondFi said users with delegated ADA still need to complete the migration, but they do not need to add extra funds to the wallet for that step.
The company also said the migration process is available only inside the official SecondFi app or browser extension after updating to the latest version. It said there is no separate migration website and no new standalone app.
