ChainCatcher news, regarding the recent security incident of SecondFi, a project in the Cardano ecosystem, SlowMist founder Cosmos posted a comment on social media. Cosmos said he is not familiar with the Cardano ecosystem, but after observing overnight, he believes that two addresses starting with "addr1q" are both hacker addresses. Based on behavioral inference, user losses at SecondFi may exceed $20 million, including over 129 million ADA and other tokens stolen.

Previously, SecondFi officially disclosed that the security incident affected approximately 16 million ADA, and pointed out that the issue originated from a web wallet generation software. The discrepancy in loss figures between the two disclosures arises from Cosmos's on-chain behavior analysis, which covers a broader scope of stolen assets. The specific loss data is still pending further verification and announcement by the project party.
