On June 5, Securitize announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has declared effective the Form S-4 registration statement for its merger with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Cantor Equity Partners II. The effectiveness of the S-4 filing indicates SEC clearance of the disclosure, clearing a major regulatory hurdle in Securitize's de-SPAC listing path.
Cantor Equity Partners II shareholders will hold a special meeting on June 29, 2026 to vote on the merger. If approved, the transaction is expected to close shortly afterward. The combined company will operate as "Securitize Corp." and list on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol "SECZ." The successful merger will formally bring Securitize into the ranks of U.S.-listed companies.
