Serenity has responded to recent claims that its portfolio had effectively been “wiped out,” calling that characterization overstated. In a post addressing the rumor, Serenity said the market talk was exaggerated and shared an account screenshot to support its position. According to the screenshot, the portfolio’s year-to-date return still stood at 2411.84%, even after a sharp decline across the AI sector in July. The response comes after increased attention on Serenity’s trading approach. The account had previously posted strong gains through concentrated bets on AI and related infrastructure stocks. More recently, however, a pullback in the AI segment and some highly leveraged positions drew market scrutiny. The latest statement does not dispute that the portfolio was hit during the sector downturn. Instead, it argues that the “zeroed out” narrative does not match the account’s disclosed performance, at least based on the screenshot Serenity chose to publish.
