The number of Shiba Inu (SHIB) holder addresses has moved above 1.58 million, according to the latest update. In a single day, the network added 10,718 new addresses, marking the strongest daily increase seen this year. The rise suggests that SHIB continues to attract on-chain participation even as the broader market remains mixed.
Holder growth coincides with ongoing burn activity
At the same time, the SHIB community has kept up its token burn efforts. Over the past 24 hours, 1,040,871 SHIB were burned. Over the last 30 days, the cumulative burn reached 208,429,367 SHIB. While the daily burn rate fell by 90.19%, weekly burn volume still posted a 3.34% increase, indicating that burn activity remains in place despite short-term fluctuations.
Price edges higher as community watches for new signals
SHIB was last quoted at $0.00000619, up 0.65% on the day and 2.29% over the past week. In supply terms, the project has now removed 41.08% of its original one quadrillion token supply, a figure often cited by supporters as part of SHIB’s deflation-focused narrative.
Community engagement also remains elevated. The report noted that Shiba Inu lead figure Yayoi Kusama has continued interacting with followers on X, while profile updates have fueled speculation about future developments. With holder growth, ongoing burns, and community attention all in focus, the market is watching for any further ecosystem or token-related announcements.
