ChainCatcher reported that, according to monitoring by on-chain analyst Emmett Gallic, a single entity withdrew more than 265,000 ZEC from exchanges over the past two days. The amount was valued at approximately $107 million in the report.

All of the withdrawn ZEC was then consolidated into one address beginning with t1ZV8D. The report did not disclose the identity of the entity, the names of the exchanges involved, the number of transactions, or the exact timing of each transfer.

ZEC is the ticker for the crypto asset Zcash. Large on-chain transfers of this type are commonly categorized as whale movement data because they track sizable fund flows between exchange-related addresses and other wallets. In this case, the available information is limited to Gallic’s monitoring result: more than 265,000 ZEC left exchanges within two days and was gathered at the same t1ZV8D-prefixed address.
