The project has posted an on-chain white-hat offer, allowing the attacker to keep up to 20% of the stolen funds as a bounty if at least 80% is returned to designated Solana and Ethereum recovery addresses by 22:00 on Sept. 3. No civil lawsuit would be filed if the terms are met.

Solana-based automated market maker Aquifer fell victim to an attack on Aug. 31, losing roughly $2.5 million, according to BlockBeats on Sept. 1.

After the incident, Aquifer posted a "white-hat" offer on-chain. The attacker can keep up to 20% of the stolen assets as a bounty, provided at least 80% is returned to designated Solana and Ethereum recovery addresses before 22:00 on Sept. 3. If the terms are followed, the project has pledged not to pursue civil litigation.
