June 12 to 18 Trading Volume Comparison
During the same reporting period, Coinbase recorded approximately $6 billion in spot trading volume, while Kraken recorded approximately $4 billion. Under this comparison, Solana’s weekly volume of $7.19 billion was higher than both platforms and ranked after Binance and Bybit among the entities mentioned in the data.
The report also stated that recent participation on the Solana network has increased, while new token issuance has grown. Fast transaction speed and low costs were also cited as factors supporting stronger retail trading activity. Solana’s reported volume shows that its on-chain spot trading activity exceeded that of some large centralized trading venues during the June 12 to 18 period.
