Solstice Finance has delayed the SLX token generation event (TGE) from May 21 to May 25. The update was posted through the project’s official X account. According to the team, the shift is tied to better liquidity conditions and a more suitable launch window after feedback from strategic partners involved in the rollout. That change has put fresh focus on when SLX will be listed and when trading will actually go live.
Launch timing was adjusted around liquidity planning
The team said May 25 is now the official date for the SLX TGE. Its explanation points to launch preparation rather than any change in the token’s core design. The project described the delay as a timing decision meant to improve market conditions at launch.
SLX is set to serve as the main utility token in the Solstice ecosystem, with functions tied to staking, governance, and incentives. Users who stake SLX receive stSLX, which the project says can earn up to 20% APY. Token holders are also expected to vote on protocol settings, treasury allocation, vault parameters, and the structure of staking rewards.
Airdrop distribution and on-chain tracking remain active
Solstice said token distribution is already underway through multiple channels, with on-chain activity available for tracking through Solscan. The team also said the distribution model currently matches the tokenomics that have already been published, and no major mismatch has been reported by the community so far.
The airdrop campaign is still running through Flares S2, and participants can continue registering through the official dApp. Solstice expects all token airdrop claims to be completed as the TGE approaches, though the project has not finalized the exact claim mechanics or the later exchange listing process. That leaves one major open question for traders.
Fixed 1 billion supply with 24% circulating at TGE
SLX has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens. The project says there are no early VC allocations, and the distribution model is weighted toward community participation. The published allocation breakdown includes 37.71% for the community, 24% for the foundation, 20% for team and advisors, 10% for airdrops, 8% for strategic TVL partners, and 0.29% for the public sale.
At the time of the TGE, about 24% of the total supply is expected to be in circulation. The remaining tokens are scheduled to unlock gradually under vesting rules. That setup gives the market a relatively limited float at launch, while putting more attention on future unlocks and distribution pace.
Solana DeFi model and early trading scenarios
Solstice Finance is a Solana-based DeFi protocol built around delta-neutral yield strategies. It uses its native stablecoin USX in structured products. Users can deposit USX into YieldVaults and receive eUSX, with returns of up to 3.7% APY according to project materials. PT-USX on Exponent is presented as another product option, offering fixed yields of up to 5.67%.
The source material says SLX is likely to see strong price discovery and early volatility once trading begins. It outlines two possible starting ranges: $0.01 to $0.05 if liquidity is only moderately maintained, and $0.05 to $0.20 if liquidity support and exchange access are stronger at TGE. Those figures were presented as scenario-based expectations in the source, not as a confirmed valuation from the project. For now, market participants are still watching for listing confirmation, trading activation, and the effect of airdrop recipients entering the market.
