South Korea's Financial Committee has announced plans to expand its regulatory sandbox to cover virtual assets. The regulatory sandbox allows companies to test innovative products in a controlled environment, aiming to provide a more flexible testing ground for cryptocurrency-related innovations and promote fintech development.


Meanwhile, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has entered into a strategic partnership with cryptocurrency exchange OKX to form a joint venture named “OKXICE.” This collaboration marks a further integration between traditional financial markets and the digital asset space. As a leading global exchange operator, ICE brings extensive market infrastructure experience, while OKX contributes its expertise in digital asset trading, together exploring compliant crypto services.
