Stripe CEO Patrick Collison said the company is integrating wallet infrastructure firm Privy into Stripe Treasury, Link, and Connect, as the payments company folds more of its acquired and affiliated crypto-related products into a broader platform. Collison said the move is intended to speed up Stripe’s global expansion and help the team ship new features faster. He also said Stripe is building a unified API that will let users hold stablecoin balances and earn yield, move between fiat and crypto rails, and coordinate spending through cards. In the same update, Collison said Link balances are coming soon. The company is also still working through a broader integration of Privy, Bridge, and other parts of Stripe.
