Sui said on Oct. 8 that it has integrated Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol V2, or CCTP V2. With the launch, native USD Coin (USDC) can now move between Sui and 29 other supported blockchains. Sui also said minting authority remains with Circle, and the USDC supply on Sui comes directly from the issuer. The update centers on native USDC rather than a wrapped version and expands transfer routes available to users across supported networks.
