ChainCatcher reported that Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino announced an upgrade to the company’s Bitcoin mining development kit, bringing it to version 0.2.0. According to the announcement, the release marks the first full end-to-end open-source run of the kit.
The latest version supports a fully open-source deployment and operation of the complete Bitcoin mining machine development stack. Developers can launch the system directly and observe real mining machine hashrate output being generated in real time through the interface.
The update focuses on linking the mining machine development environment with live operational data. Ardoino said the goal of the kit is to build an underlying technical framework that connects intelligent systems with physical infrastructure. With version 0.2.0, the stated capabilities center on open-source deployment, real-time hashrate display, and direct system startup by developers.
