Tether Investments has announced that it is leading NEURA Robotics’ Series C financing round of up to approximately $1.4 billion. According to an official announcement cited by ChainCatcher, Tether Investments has become the lead investor in NEURA Robotics’ Series C financing round of up to approximately $1.4 billion. The round is described as one of the largest private financings ever completed in the fields of robotics and physical AI. A number of industrial and financial investors took part in the round, and some industrial giant partners also joined as follow-on investors.

NEURA Robotics focuses on multi-form cognitive robots

NEURA Robotics is focused on multi-form cognitive robotics. Its product areas include humanoid robots, industrial robotic arms and mobile robots. Alongside these hardware categories, the company has built a unified software platform called Neuraverse, which is designed to connect robots, components, AI models and computing power within one operating environment.

Tether’s role in this transaction extends beyond providing capital. As part of the cooperation, Tether will embed its self-developed Wallet Development Kit, or WDK, into NEURA robots. The integration is intended to provide self-custodial wallet functionality for the robots, linking wallet capabilities with NEURA’s robotics products and software platform.

WDK and QVAC to be tested inside Neuraverse

In addition to the WDK integration, Tether will test and deploy its QVAC edge AI runtime within Neuraverse. The disclosed purpose is to support local inference and automatic settlement. Through these deployments, the companies aim to advance the implementation of infrastructure for the “machine economy,” covering areas such as wallets, edge AI runtime, robotic systems, software connectivity and settlement functions.

Before this Series C round of up to about $1.4 billion, NeuraRobotics had already received approximately €1 billion in financing led by Tether in March, when its valuation reached €4 billion. With Tether Investments now serving as lead investor in NEURA Robotics’ latest round, the cooperation again brings together Tether’s self-developed tools and NEURA’s robotics products, components and Neuraverse platform.
