According to Odaily, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino announced in a post on X that the number of self-custody wallets created with WDK open-source technology has surpassed 100,000. The milestone shows that the open-source wallet development tool is being applied in real crypto infrastructure, while the scale of users and developer adoption in the self-custody ecosystem continues to grow.

WDK expands across device environments

WDK is an open-source wallet development kit supported by Tether. It is designed for the creation and deployment of self-custody wallets and can be integrated into any device.
