Token Watch, a crypto asset data platform operated by Token Post, has unveiled a new relationship map feature that lays out the connection structure among projects, investors and key figures.
The feature centers on crypto asset projects listed on the Korean won market and visualizes how investors and major individuals are linked. Users can review the backing behind a single project, then trace other projects backed by the same investor on the same screen, along with the past and current affiliations of related people.
Search and filter across projects, investors and people
The map currently displays the top 30 investors by portfolio ranking and key figures identified across multiple projects. Users can search directly for a project, investor or person, or filter by type to isolate only the relationships they want to see.
Relationship lines are split into four categories:
- general investment
- lead investment
- current affiliation
- former affiliation
That structure lets users see which investors took part in a specific project, who led a funding round, and which organizations key figures are currently tied to or were connected to in the past.
Node-based view narrows the graph to within two degrees
When a user selects a specific project, the map shows investors in that project and the people connected to it. Viewed from the investor side, the tool shows that investor’s portfolio of Korean won-listed projects and co-investment ties with other investors.
After clicking a node, users can also apply a “view centered on this node” function that keeps only connections within two degrees of the selected item. That allows users to focus quickly on a specific project or investor even when the wider network looks crowded. The map also supports node dragging and screen zooming.
Designed to surface funding and personnel networks together
Token Watch said the relationship map goes beyond a simple investor list and gives users a more layered way to explore capital networks and human networks in the crypto asset market.
According to the platform, the feature can help reveal information that was previously hard to confirm from a project’s published investor logos alone, including:
- co-investors
- VC combinations that invest together frequently
- overlapping investors across competing projects
- key figures who repeatedly appear across multiple projects
For investors, the tool can serve as a reference when checking the background of projects they are interested in. For journalists and researchers, it can be used as an interview and analysis tool to uncover hidden common links between projects. For industry participants and business development staff, it can help trace connection paths among projects, investors and key figures.
Data sourced from RootData, available on the web
Token Watch said the investor and personnel data used in the map are based on RootData. Some information, including whether a project responded, follows records kept by the Token Post editorial team.
For personnel links, the platform said it only creates an association when X accounts match or when two or more full names match, in an effort to reduce mistaken links involving the same person.
The relationship map requires no additional installation, runs directly on the web, and supports both Korean and English interfaces.
Platform says the tool will be refined over time
A Token Post representative said, “To understand crypto asset projects, it is not enough to look only at prices and listing information. It is also necessary to understand which capital and which people are connected behind a project. We will continue to improve the relationship map so that scattered investment and personnel information can be explored in an intuitive way.”
Token Watch also said the information displayed in the relationship map may differ from the latest real-world status depending on when the data were collected and verified, and that all data are for reference only and do not constitute investment advice.
