TradingBeats, formerly Hyperinsight, said a whale address starting with 0xf517 has placed 190 BTC sell orders in the $79,654 to $108,888 range. The orders are not reduce-only. They aim to sell 951.3 BTC, with a notional value of about $91.787 million and a weighted average order price of roughly $96,488.

BTC was trading at $77,351. The sell range sat about 3% to 40.8% above that price. Because the orders are not marked reduce-only, any execution that exceeds the whale’s current long position would flip the position into a short.

The whale currently holds a 40x cross BTC long of 94.1 BTC, worth about $72.77 million, with an average entry price of $77,330.3. That is down from 109.4 BTC, after an earlier reduction of about 15.3 BTC. Of the 951.3 BTC in sell orders, about one-tenth would close the long, while the remaining roughly 857.2 BTC would become a new short. If fully filled, the theoretical reverse short would be worth about $82.7 million.

The same address also has a bid for 133.7 BTC at $74,088, worth about $99.08 million. Outside BTC, it has 108 open orders across other tokens, with total notional value of about $89.32 million.

Those orders include HYPE, LIT and ZEC. The whale currently holds a 197,800 HYPE long worth about $15.44 million, with an average entry price of $62.52, and has placed a $5 million buy order at $62.2, about 20.2% below the current price. For LIT, it has 71 sell orders in the $3.8081 to $6 range, targeting an additional 362,200 tokens in short exposure worth about $1.84 million. For ZEC, it has 29 sell orders between $890.71 and $999, targeting about 1,560 new short units worth about $1.484 million.

According to the report, the whale trades across U.S. stocks and crypto, often in the market’s most active names, and has repeatedly appeared in positions tied to the S&P 500, AMZN and SPCX. Its cumulative historical profit is said to be close to $30 million.
