TRON super representatives have initiated voting on Mainnet Committee Proposal No. 107, with the ballot scheduled to close at 14:00 Singapore time on Aug. 28. The proposal would enable a set of features in GreatVoyage-v4.8.2 tied to TVM compatibility with Ethereum’s Prague and Osaka upgrades. These include support for historical block hash queries, a new CLZ opcode, a secp256r1 precompiled contract for Passkey verification, and lower energy consumption for MODEXP. If approved, the change would improve compatibility between the TRON Virtual Machine and the latest Ethereum upgrade features, while also expanding support for smart contract development and cross-ecosystem adaptation.
