More than a month after Donald Trump, the 47th U.S. president, launched his meme-inspired TRUMP token, the Solana-based crypto asset continues to shine in the top 50 rankings. With 709,835 unique wallets now holding the token, the distribution landscape has drawn intense scrutiny from analysts and traders alike.
Circulating Supply and Vesting Plan
The total supply of TRUMP tokens is capped at 1 billion, but only 199.99 million are currently circulating. The remaining 800 million tokens are locked in a vesting plan for the project team, giving the asset a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of over $17 billion at current prices. This massive locked supply creates uncertainty about future selling pressure once the vesting schedule begins to unlock tokens in stages.
Top Holders and Exchange Concentration
The largest independent holder (excluding the vesting wallet) is a Binance-managed address containing 30.15 million TRUMP, worth approximately $513 million. Directly below it sits another Binance wallet with 20 million TRUMP, valued at $340 million. Together, these two addresses hold 25.08% of the circulating supply, underscoring Binance's dominant role in the token's liquidity.
Ranking third is the "token owner" address, which holds 15.01 million TRUMP (7.51% of circulating supply, worth $256 million). Crypto exchange OKX follows with 14.69 million tokens ($250 million), while an unidentified wallet holds 12.54 million ($213 million). The Solana-based decentralized exchange Meteora holds 8.09 million tokens ($138 million), Robinhood has 7.7 million ($131 million), South Korea's Upbit holds 6.75 million ($115 million), and Bybit has 6.3 million ($107 million). Collectively, platforms from OKX to Bybit account for 27.05% of circulating tokens, and all exchanges combined control 38.35% of the 199.99 million TRUMP currently available.
Volatility Risks and Market Outlook
Such concentrated holdings highlight the potential for sharp price swings. As investor interest in this meme coin expands, any shift in liquidity flows or changes in decentralized finance narratives could trigger significant volatility. The TRUMP token's high FDV and evolving tokenomics are key factors that may redefine its valuation going forward. Industry watchers are closely monitoring the vesting schedule and exchange distribution to gauge possible sell-offs and strategic moves by major holders.
