Upbit said it has decided to extend MANTRA’s designation as a trading warning asset after reviewing a clarification request submitted by MANTRA. According to the exchange, MANTRA had filed the request after being placed under the trading warning label, and the review process tied to that request has been completed. Even so, Upbit said the current handling progress still requires additional review. Based on that assessment, the exchange chose to prolong the warning designation period for MANTRA rather than end it at this stage. The update was reported by ChainCatcher as a regulatory-related market notice involving the South Korean exchange’s treatment of the token.
