ChainCatcher reported, citing BBX data, that several global U.S.-listed entities and major corporate treasuries disclosed fresh weekend updates across three areas: direct spot Bitcoin allocation, Bitcoin mining production and liquidity settlement, and cross-sector investment in Web3 infrastructure. The disclosures involve a leading U.S. real estate investment company, a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining firm, and a Nasdaq-listed company increasing its exposure to a decentralized prediction market platform.
Cardone Capital adds 282 Bitcoin
Grant Cardone, chief executive officer of the leading U.S. real estate investment company Cardone Capital and a billionaire entrepreneur, announced yesterday on X that the company had recently completed a direct allocation to digital assets in the secondary market. According to the announcement, Cardone Capital again bought the dip and added 282 Bitcoin. The disclosure places Bitcoin within the company’s recent asset allocation activity and follows Cardone’s public positioning around the hedging attributes of crypto assets.
Bitdeer keeps a zero-Bitcoin treasury approach
Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin miner Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: $BTDR) also published its latest weekly Bitcoin production and liquidity settlement ledger on X. For the week ended June 19, Bitdeer reported net Bitcoin mining output of 218.1 BTC. During the same period, the company sold the full 218.1 BTC on the open market, leaving its treasury with a net increase of 0 Bitcoin.
Bitdeer explicitly reiterated that it continues to maintain a pure fiat operating strategy described as “zero Bitcoin holdings” and “full liquidation into cash.” Under this approach, Bitcoin produced through mining is not retained as a long-term treasury asset. Instead, the output is sold through the open market and converted into fiat liquidity, with the stated purpose of supporting efficient cash-flow circulation for the company’s core business.
NewGen increases strategic investment in K25.ai
Separately, Nasdaq-listed NewGen, Inc. (NASDAQ: $NWGN) announced an additional $4 million strategic investment in K25.ai, a decentralized prediction market platform. The investment supports K25.ai’s Pre-A financing round, which totals $10 million. After the completion of this financing, K25.ai’s post-money valuation has reached $100 million.
Through the investment, NewGen is expected to hold a 10% equity stake in K25.ai. The company described the move as part of its effort to accelerate its position within the ecosystem tied to the crypto prediction market narrative. Together, the weekend disclosures show three distinct balance-sheet approaches among listed or institutional participants: Cardone Capital directly adding Bitcoin, Bitdeer converting all weekly Bitcoin production into fiat, and NewGen expanding through a strategic Web3 infrastructure investment.
