Techub News, citing CryptoBriefing, reported that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw record outflows over the past 30 days, with cumulative net redemptions of about $6 billion. The outflow marks the largest 30-day withdrawal period since spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024.
From May 15 to June 3, the products recorded outflows for 13 consecutive trading days. During that streak, investors withdrew about $4.4 billion, equivalent to roughly 59,400 BTC. The period also set the longest continuous outflow record for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs since their debut.
Despite the recent redemptions, cumulative net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs since launch remain above $50 billion. The report attributed the latest wave of outflows mainly to institutional profit-taking and macroeconomic uncertainty, while Bitcoin’s price fell to a four-month low.
