Techub News, citing CryptoBriefing, reported that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen record fund outflows over the past 30 days, with cumulative net outflows of about $6 billion. Spot Bitcoin ETFs are exchange-traded funds linked primarily to spot Bitcoin exposure, and their inflow and outflow data show how capital is moving in and out of these products.
Thirteen Straight Trading Days of Outflows
During this period, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded 13 consecutive trading days of outflows from May 15 to June 3. The total outflow during that stretch was about $4.4 billion, equal to roughly 59,400 Bitcoin. According to the report, this marks the longest continuous outflow streak since spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in the United States in January 2024.
Despite the recent redemptions, cumulative net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs since launch remain above $50 billion. The latest outflows were mainly attributed to institutional profit-taking and macroeconomic uncertainty, which led Bitcoin’s price to fall to a four-month low.
