Nasdaq-listed Vivopower International Plc has unveiled a partnership with Doppler Finance to advance its XRP-based treasury strategy, signaling a deeper move into digital asset-driven capital management. Under the plan, the company intends to deploy an initial $30 million pilot tranche on a staged basis to generate yield from its XRP holdings. Vivopower said it believes the initiative could eventually scale to more than $200 million.

A Treasury Model Built Around Yield and Reinvestment

According to the announcement, Vivopower will keep XRP as a core reserve asset while using Doppler’s institutional-grade yield platform to improve the productivity of those holdings. The company described the structure as a regenerative loop rather than a conventional treasury program: yield earned on deployed XRP will be systematically reinvested into Vivopower’s reserves, with the goal of creating long-term compounding value for shareholders.

The approach highlights how corporates are increasingly experimenting with blockchain-based treasury frameworks instead of treating digital assets solely as passive balance-sheet holdings. Founded in 2014, Vivopower has been broadening its focus from sustainability-led operations toward blockchain-enabled treasury management and decentralized finance applications.

South Korea and XRPL Infrastructure Add Strategic Weight

Vivopower also emphasized the strategic role of South Korea in the XRP market. The company said the country holds roughly $30 billion worth of XRP, representing about 20% of global supply. That market concentration, combined with XRP liquidity, was presented as a key reason the partnership matters. Rox Park, Head of Korea at Doppler Finance, said the platform is confident it can help meet Vivopower’s yield-enhancement goals for XRP and potentially support future use cases involving the RLUSD stablecoin.

Doppler Finance is backed by Reforge, Digital Currency Group, and Ripple-affiliated entities, and has built native infrastructure on the XRP Ledger that includes regulated custody and audited reserves. While critics continue to point to crypto volatility and unresolved regulatory risks, supporters argue that XRP’s liquidity profile and its entrenched adoption in South Korea make it an increasingly relevant option for forward-looking corporate treasury diversification.
