Odaily reported, citing monitoring by on-chain analyst Ai Yi, that address 0x770…399f2 previously bought 112.86 WBTC on April 14, near what was described as the starting point of the market’s upward move at that time. The average purchase price was $71,655, and the position was valued at $8.08 million when it was opened.

The address once recorded more than $1 million in unrealized profit in mid-May, but it continued to hold the position instead of taking profit at that stage. According to the monitoring data, the whale later completed its exit in batches, selling on June 16 and again seven hours before the report. The reported selling price was $64,723.

From the April 14 entry to the staged liquidation, the WBTC position was held for about two months. Based on the reported average entry and exit prices, the address failed to retain the paper profit seen in mid-May, and the value of the position shrank by 10% over the holding period.
