KelpDAO said in a May 18 post on X that it would consolidate supported networks in order to ensure the highest security standards for rsETH. Starting June 15, the project will no longer support rsETH cross-chain services on Optimism, Manta, Mode, Blast, Scroll, X Layer, zkSync, Zircuit, Swellchain, Hemi, Berachain, Sonic, HyperEVM, Unichain, TAC, Avalanche, Plasma Stable, MegaETH, Monad and Movement. Users holding rsETH on those chains must bridge their assets back to the Ethereum mainnet before June 15. After the deadline, recovery requests will still be accepted, but they will require a fee of 100 USDC per address. KelpDAO said details of the process will be released around June 15.

Lido also reminded users on X that, as Swellchain prepares to cease operations, users must withdraw their on-chain wstETH before June 15, 2026. After that date, Swellchain will be permanently shut down, and any wstETH assets remaining on the chain may become unrecoverable. Lido urged users to complete the asset migration before the closure date in order to avoid losses described in the notice.

The derivatives give investors a way to trade views on the stock’s future direction or hedge against declines in the share price. The source item also noted that a surge in options volume could further increase demand for trading the stock.

The Federal Reserve will announce its rate decision at 2:00 Beijing time on June 18, followed by a monetary policy press conference by Fed Chair Warsh at 2:30. This will be Warsh’s first Federal Open Market Committee meeting since taking office as the new chair. According to CME FedWatch data, the probability that the Fed keeps interest rates unchanged in June is 98.5%. On policy signals, the market is focusing on whether three hawkish signals materialize. The dot plot is one of the points of focus: the March dot plot still showed one rate cut during the year, while this dot plot is likely to shift toward stable rates, and may even show a majority of officials expecting rate increases. The source item also noted the balance of risks: if officials’ concerns about inflation rise significantly and worries about the labor market fade, that may pave the way for later rate hikes.
Also on June 18, the Swiss National Bank will announce its rate decision at 15:30 Beijing time. At 19:00 Beijing time, the Bank of England will announce its rate decision and meeting minutes. Caixin reported that, in the 60,000-Bitcoin money-laundering case, a hearing on “issues of applicable law” will be held in July. Chinese victims seeking recovery through the UK procedure, after completing preliminary registration, must provide additional detailed financial information before June 18, 2026. The required information includes total investment, amount of loss, amounts already compensated and supporting evidence.

The same Caixin report said the hearing will be central to the disposal of the 60,000-Bitcoin assets. If Chinese law applies, the relationship between the victims and Lantian Gerui is one of creditor and debtor, and the victims can recover at most their principal. If UK law applies, the victims have rights in the nature of proprietary interest over the Bitcoin, and the appreciation component of the loss may also be recovered.

Decentralized derivatives platform Felix announced that, due to the shutdown of the USDH stablecoin, the HIP-3-based Felix DEX and all active markets will begin shutting down gradually on June 19 and complete full liquidation on June 20. The platform reminded traders to close positions before that time. Markets will be settled one by one in sequence, with a one-hour interval between adjacent markets.
Community member Shaunda Devens disclosed that USDH is indeed one of the reasons for Felix’s closure, but Felix chose to shut down the DEX completely rather than continue as a HIP-3 deployer and list USDC trading pairs. The source item said the closure was not directly caused by TradeXYZ, but because TradeXYZ dominated the major markets, other deployers had to shift toward niche markets. Those markets were difficult to use to cover auction costs, and they also could not justify the opportunity cost of staking 500,000 HYPE.
