A whale that has accumulated nearly $100 million worth of ETH and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) since July withdrew another 50 WBTC from Binance about eight hours ago, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi. After the latest transfer, the wallet’s ETH holdings stood at 49,400 coins, while its WBTC position rose to 300 coins. The combined value of those holdings was reported at more than $103 million. Ai Yi said the whale’s average cost basis was about $1,705 for ETH and $63,027.58 for WBTC. Based on those figures, the position was showing an unrealized profit of $11.113 million at the time of the update. The tracking note did not disclose the identity of the wallet owner, but described it as a large holder that has been building positions in ETH and WBTC since July.
