A whale wallet tracked as 0xccf3...2a75 made four large Bitcoin directional trades on the night of Sept. 15, according to TradingBeats. The address first built a BTC long position of roughly 900 BTC, worth about $68.74 million, and briefly ranked as Hyperliquid’s third-largest BTC long before closing the trade at around $76,384.68 for a loss of about $312,100 after holding it for roughly 1 hour and 19 minutes. It then opened another long of about 1,000 BTC, valued at around $75.85 million, and closed that position six minutes later for a profit of about $130,400. At 23:15 Beijing time, the same wallet switched sides and opened a 1,000 BTC short worth about $76.01 million, only to close it 10 minutes later with a loss of about $278,400. By press time, the address had entered a fourth trade, opening a 650 BTC short with 40x leverage, worth about $49.61 million at an average entry price near $76,382, showing an unrealized profit of about $33,600. Based on the first three closed trades, the wallet’s cumulative loss stood at about $450,100.

Whale address 0xccf3...2a75 cycled through four large BTC trades on the night of Sept. 15, with direction changes coming in quick succession, according to TradingBeats. The first three positions had already been closed by press time, while the fourth remained open.

First trade: 900 BTC long closed after 1 hour and 19 minutes at a loss

Trading data showed that the address began building a BTC long at around 20:50 Beijing time. The position later expanded to about 900 BTC, valued at roughly $68.74 million, and briefly became the third-largest BTC long on Hyperliquid.

The wallet then closed the position at around 22:09 at approximately $76,384.68, booking a loss of about $312,100 after holding it for around 1 hour and 19 minutes.

Second trade: another 1,000 BTC long closed in six minutes with a profit

After exiting the first trade, the address opened another BTC long at 22:54, this time for roughly 1,000 BTC. The position was valued at about $75.85 million.

That long was closed at 23:00, producing a profit of about $130,400 after a holding period of only around six minutes.

Third trade: 1,000 BTC short reversed and closed 10 minutes later at a loss

At 23:15, the address flipped short and opened a 1,000 BTC position valued at about $76.01 million.

Ten minutes later, at 23:25, the trade was closed for a loss of about $278,400.

Fourth trade: 650 BTC 40x leveraged short still open at press time

As of publication, the wallet had entered a fourth round of trading, opening another BTC short for 650 BTC with 40x leverage. The position was worth about $49.61 million, with an average entry price near $76,382, and was showing an unrealized profit of about $33,600.

Based on the first three closed trades, the address had posted a cumulative loss of about $450,100, close to $500,000.
