A crypto whale known as “Set 10 Big Goals First” said this trading cycle is targeting $300 million in profit after building a position with 300 BTC, adding that realized profit has already reached $60 million. The trader contrasted that with the previous cycle, when a position opened with 150 BTC had aimed for $150 million in profit and at one point locked in as much as $120 million. According to the post, those gains were wiped out near the end after the trader misread the direction of a drop from $120,000, leaving only principal preserved and a small residual profit. The trader later said the experience led to stricter risk-control discipline and a clearer set of rules. Earlier that morning, the whale also shared a 4x leveraged long on Bitcoin entered at an average price of $63,827.06. The disclosed position size was about 2,358.05 BTC, or roughly $150 million. With BTC moving above $66,000, floating profit on that long could expand to about $5.15 million.

BlockBeats reported on July 21 that a crypto whale trader known as “Set 10 Big Goals First” said the current trading cycle is targeting $300 million in profit.

In the post, the trader said the previous cycle began with a position built using 150 BTC and carried a profit target of $150 million. Realized profit once reached as high as $120 million, but near the end, the trader misjudged the direction of a decline from $120,000. As a result, all realized gains were erased, with only principal and a slight profit ultimately preserved.

Current cycle position built with 300 BTC

The trader said the current cycle was opened with 300 BTC and is aimed at $300 million in profit. Realized profit now stands at $60 million, according to the post.

The trader later added that rules are still being built and habits are still taking shape. Reflecting on the lesson from giving back all profits in the last round, the trader said stricter risk-control discipline had been adopted: “Missing a move is acceptable, being wrong is acceptable, but I refuse any chance of being wiped out in one wave.”

4x leveraged BTC long disclosed this morning

Earlier that morning, the whale also shared a 4x leveraged long on Bitcoin with an average entry price of $63,827.06.

Based on the disclosed figures, the long position was about 2,358.05 BTC, valued at roughly $150 million. With BTC breaking above $66,000, floating profit on the position could widen to about $5.15 million.
