BlockBeats reported on June 19 that, according to monitoring by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, a whale cleared a position of 1,105 BTC that had been held for about seven months. The bitcoin involved was valued at approximately $69.43 million, and the address realized a loss of about $26.9 million through the exit.
The monitored activity shows that the whale moved BTC from Binance and OKX to an on-chain address between November last year and February this year, at an average price of $87,181. The assets remained on-chain for roughly seven months before today’s full transfer.
Yu Jin’s monitoring indicates that all 1,105 BTC were transferred to Binance today. The key details recorded on-chain include the original exchange sources, the approximate holding period, the transfer back to Binance, and the final realized loss of about $26.9 million.
