A whale that had been using a leveraged loop strategy to stay long ETH and BTC has taken profit again, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi. The address deposited 3,000 ETH to Binance four hours ago after accumulating the tokens at an average withdrawal price of $1,776.83 and moving them back to the exchange at an average deposit price of $2,413.4. If sold at that level, the position would lock in a profit of about $1.91 million.
Ai Yi’s monitoring shows this was not a one-off move. Since Aug. 19, the whale has transferred a total of 13,887.15 ETH to exchanges, with cumulative realized profit reaching $6.727 million. The latest batch of ETH was valued at $7.24 million, marking another round of profit-taking tied to the whale’s leveraged long exposure across ETH and BTC.
