Overnight cumulative liquidations reached 21,798.13 ETH, with remaining collateral at 82,871.28 ETH. Liquidation levels for two addresses now sit at $1,526.91 and $1,458.78.

In the early hours of June 6, as Ethereum (ETH) briefly plunged to $1,540, a whale address that had taken leveraged long positions on ETH was once again hit by liquidation. Monitoring by on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa revealed that the address was forced to sell 6,667.13 ETH while repaying 9.878 million USDT in borrowings.

This marks another blow for the whale during the ongoing downturn. Since the previous night, the address has cumulatively lost 21,798.13 ETH to liquidations. The high-leverage strategy has proved extremely fragile amid acute volatility, and the remaining collateral positions are now sitting just above dangerously close liquidation thresholds.

Massive Unrealized Losses and Cumulative Liquidation Scale

According to the latest on-chain data, the two main addresses controlled by the whale still hold a significant amount of ETH as collateral, with total remaining collateral standing at approximately 82,871.28 ETH. Although the size remains substantial, some positions have liquidation prices that are now very close to the current market price, meaning any further decline could trigger another round of automatic deleveraging.

Liquidation Price Distribution Across Two Addresses

Detailed data shows that address 0xc3f... has an outstanding loan of 51,333.58 ETH against a liquidation price of $1,526.91, while address 0x34d... has an outstanding loan of 31,537.7 ETH with a slightly lower liquidation price of $1,458.78. With ETH trading just above these critical levels, the whale’s margin of safety is razor-thin, keeping the market on high alert.

Over the past 24 hours, ETH steadily retreated from higher levels and, although it bounced slightly after touching $1,540, the two liquidation lines remain key reference points for near-term price action. Should selling pressure intensify further, the whale could face another massive liquidation event, putting localized stress on ETH market liquidity.
