ChainCatcher reported that on-chain analyst Ember monitored a whale clearing a Bitcoin position that had been held for around seven months. The position consisted of 1,105 BTC, with a disclosed value of $69.43 million, and the transaction resulted in a loss of $26.9 million.

According to the monitoring information, the whale withdrew BTC from Binance and OKX to on-chain addresses between last November and this February. The average acquisition or holding cost for the BTC was listed at $87,181. In the latest move, the whale transferred all of these BTC back to Binance.

The reported activity describes a full exit from the position rather than a partial reduction. After the entire 1,105 BTC was moved to Binance, the whale realized the stated $26.9 million loss.
