The whale originally bought the WBTC on April 14, at what was described as the starting point of a market rise, with an average entry price of $71,655. The position was valued at approximately $8.08 million at the time of purchase.

The holding once showed more than $1 million in unrealized profit in mid-May, but the whale did not sell at that stage. The position was later closed in batches, with sales taking place on June 16 and again seven hours before the monitoring update. The final average selling price was $64,723, below the original average purchase price.

Based on the monitored data, the whale held the assets for about two months and saw the position shrink by 10%. The final realized loss was $782,000. The transaction record reflects a complete cycle in which a large WBTC position moved from a significant floating profit to a realized loss after the holder chose not to exit during the earlier profit window.
