HackQuest announced the winners of the 0G APAC Hackathon on June 13. The event attracted 1,145 participants globally, received 293 final project submissions, and generated more than 1.04 million social media impressions. Ghast AI, NeoSoul, and Anima took the top three places.

According to an announcement released by HackQuest (@HackQuest_) on June 13, the 0G APAC Hackathon has officially published its final winners. The event brought together 1,145 participants from around the world and received 293 final project submissions. HackQuest also reported that the hackathon generated more than 1.04 million impressions across social media.

The winning projects centered on areas including AI agents, decentralized inference, long-term memory, on-chain payments, data availability, collaboration networks, and execution frameworks. The top three awards went to Ghast AI (@Ghast_AI), NeoSoul (@NeoSoulAI), and Anima (@anima_0g), while a separate group of projects received Excellence Awards.

Top three projects focus on AI agent clients, trust layers, and CLI-native frameworks

First place went to Ghast AI (@Ghast_AI), described as a crypto-native AI agent client built on 0G. The project supports decentralized inference, user-owned long-term memory, censorship-resistant access, and portable agent IDs. Its submission focuses on the core capabilities needed for an AI agent to operate in a crypto-native environment, including identity, memory, access, and inference.

Second place was awarded to NeoSoul (@NeoSoulAI), which is focused on building a trust layer for the emerging agent economy. The project provides infrastructure for verifiable permissions, accountability, and recovery mechanisms for AI agents. In the context of the hackathon’s published description, NeoSoul’s work is positioned around how agents can prove authorization, maintain accountability, and recover operational states within agent-based systems.

Third place went to Anima (@anima_0g), a CLI-native agent framework. According to the award description, the identity, memory, inference, wallet, and economic activity of agents built with Anima all run on 0G’s decentralized infrastructure. The framework also supports independent persistence across devices, giving developers a structure for agent applications that require continuity across different environments.

Excellence Awards span payments, memory, messaging, and security

The Excellence Awards list included Alsphere (@AlsphereAI), Hash PayLink (@HashPayLink), Beam (@beam_xyz), Stealth Pay (@StealthPayHQ), Herald Protocol (@HeraldProtocol), Aegis Vault (@AegisVault), YieldBoost AI Protocol (@YieldBoostAI), MemoriaDA (@MemoriaDA), Coal (@CoalAI_), and Orcus (@OrcusProtocol). Together, these projects covered decentralized collaboration, on-chain payment links, automated on-chain interactions, privacy-focused crypto payments, messaging infrastructure, digital asset custody, AI-driven DeFi yield optimization, decentralized long-term memory, data availability, agent collaboration, and coordinated execution.

Alsphere is building a decentralized collaboration and resource network for the AI Agent ecosystem. Hash PayLink provides on-chain payment links and crypto payment infrastructure services. Beam is an AI Agent-based framework for automated on-chain interactions and task execution. Stealth Pay focuses on a privacy-preserving crypto payment solution. Herald Protocol provides messaging infrastructure for agents and on-chain applications.

Aegis Vault offers secure custody and permission management services for digital assets. YieldBoost AI Protocol combines AI and DeFi in an intelligent yield optimization protocol. MemoriaDA provides a decentralized long-term memory and data availability layer for AI agents. Coal explores infrastructure for AI agent collaboration and value exchange. Orcus is an identity and collaborative execution protocol designed for the intelligent agent ecosystem.

0G APAC Hackathon targets AI Native applications built on decentralized AI infrastructure

According to the event description, the 0G APAC Hackathon is intended to promote deeper integration between AI and Web3. It encourages developers to build a new generation of AI Native applications on top of 0G’s decentralized AI infrastructure, while expanding implementation across scenarios such as agents, data, compute, and payments.

The final award list reflects that scope. The top projects and Excellence Award recipients addressed different layers of the AI and Web3 stack, ranging from agent clients and agent frameworks to payment infrastructure, messaging systems, long-term memory, data availability, custody, permission management, and collaborative execution protocols.
