Anthropic adds Remote Control for Claude Code, letting users take over local sessions from a phone

Anthropic’s Remote Control feature for Claude Code lets users connect to a locally running coding session from claude.ai/code or the Claude mobile app on iOS and Android. The setup keeps code execution and file system access on the local machine, while syncing conversation transcripts and tool activity through Anthropic’s servers so users can switch between terminal, browser, and phone without starting over. The feature requires Claude Code v2.1.52 or later and a claude.ai account login through claude auth login. It does not work with API key authentication or long-lived setup tokens. Free plans are excluded, while Pro and Max support it directly. Team and Enterprise plans can use it only if an organization owner enables the setting in admin controls, and organizations using Zero Data Retention cannot use the feature at all. The guide also breaks down three main activation paths, plus a VS Code extension entry point, supported and unsupported commands on mobile, push notification setup, security boundaries, Trusted Devices controls for enterprise users, and a detailed list of known errors and fixes. Anthropic’s positioning is clear: Remote Control is for handing off an active local session to another device, while cloud sessions, Dispatch, and Slack-based Claude Tag are meant for different operating models.

ChainCatcher Morning Brief: Korean memory inventory warning and Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP token plan lead a packed crypto cycle

ChainCatcher’s latest morning roundup spans a wide mix of crypto, macro, security and tech-capex developments from the past 24 hours. Bitcoin slipped nearly 1% to around $79,700 as rising oil prices, linked in the report to an escalation between the U.S. and Iran, added fresh pressure to risk assets. At the same time, spot crypto ETFs kept attracting money, with Bitcoin spot ETFs posting $987 million in weekly net inflows and Ethereum spot ETFs drawing $218 million, both marking a third straight week of net inflows. Beyond price action, several project and security updates stood out. Vitalik Buterin pushed back on claims that AI could break Bitcoin’s security assumptions, while Galaxy Research said roughly 45% of the assets stolen in the Coldcard “Wave 3” incident have now moved into cross-chain or mixing paths. Liquid Network and SideSwap also remained in focus after an exploit involving 4,000 L-BTC, and Blockstream said the vulnerability tied to the incident had been patched. On the corporate and policy front, KB Securities warned that Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have memory inventories below 10 days, pointing to a tighter supply picture as AI infrastructure spending expands. The Wall Street Journal separately reported that Hunter Biden plans to launch a meme coin called LAPTOP on Base on Sept. 9, with a detailed token allocation, lockup and burn-or-charity framework tied to preset future events.

Binance Futures also said it would list PONSUSDT and Hakimi USDT-margined perpetual contracts on Sept. 6, with launch times set for 14:45 and 15:15 Beijing time. The broader roundup also included comments from trader Bonk Guy on b-money and BNB Chain meme coins, new operating data from PAIR, a response from Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev to criticism over tokenized stocks, and a security warning from Base co-founder Jesse Pollak after his X account was used through a connected third-party app to post scam token content.

PA Daily: ARB jumps 44.1% in 24 hours, while PONS briefly tops a $990 million market cap

PA Daily’s Sept. 6 roundup tracked a wide spread of market, regulatory and on-chain developments across the crypto sector. Arbitrum’s ARB rose 44.1% over the past 24 hours to $0.1901, while PONS, a token tied to Robinhood Chain activity, briefly pushed its market capitalization above $990 million before settling at $873 million, still up 29.23% on the day with roughly $109.5 million in 24-hour volume. On the policy side, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said he attended the third formal meeting of Kyrgyzstan’s National Crypto Committee, chaired by President Sadyr Japarov, where topics included crypto regulation, compliance, AML and anti-fraud measures, stablecoins, and a tokenization pilot. In Latin America, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele rejected a report claiming the country had transferred control of more than 7,763 BTC, calling the story “fake news” and saying the IMF reference concerned Chivo wallet equity rather than the national bitcoin reserve. The report also highlighted Binance listings, Solana network data, account security issues involving Base co-founder Jesse Pollak, debate between Arbitrum and Solana over Robinhood Chain’s fee design, and a series of notable whale and institutional trades involving HYPE, UNI, ZEC and PONS.

10 FOMO accounts on traders’ watchlists, plus the tools they use to track them

A community roundup circulating in crypto trading circles lists 10 FOMO accounts that the author says are worth watching, with each profile broken down by reported profit, trading style, posting cadence and practical follow value. The lineup includes @theunipcs, @changefomo, LaserCat397.eth2.0, @DumbCrayonEater, @himgajria, @ether_monk, @CryptoKaleo, @AvgJoesCrypto, @Salem1299534 and @fmpumpguy. The write-up points to very different approaches inside the same ecosystem. Some names are described as concentrated, high-conviction traders who move infrequently but size up hard once they commit. Others are framed as faster rotation traders, especially in hot narratives, with frequent buy and sell activity. Several entries highlight specific tokens and unrealized gains shown on FOMO pages, while the commentary repeatedly warns that copying positions one-for-one is not the same as tracking trade logic. The article also appends a FOMO tool stack. It mentions browser-based plugins and wallet lookup tools, API products for mapping handles to wallets and PnL, address reverse-search services, monitoring dashboards, execution terminals, ranking tools and a Telegram feed that surfaces trades and thesis posts. Together, the list is presented as a practical reference for users who want to monitor wallets, scan leaderboards and set up alerts or copy-trading workflows.
