U.S.-listed ETF assets hit a record $15.6 trillion, The Kobeissi Letter says

Assets under management in U.S.-listed exchange-traded funds have climbed to a record $15.6 trillion, according to a July 11 post from The Kobeissi Letter. The figure has doubled over the past 30 months, pointing to a sharp expansion in ETF adoption across the U.S. market. The post said investors have allocated more than $1 trillion to U.S.-listed ETFs so far this year, a pace that is nearly double the comparable 2025 record. If current inflows continue, full-year ETF inflows could top $2 trillion for the first time, about 33% above last year’s all-time high. June alone brought in roughly $193 billion, making it the second-largest monthly inflow ever recorded for U.S. ETFs. The Kobeissi Letter said demand has been concentrated in ETFs tied to U.S. mega-cap stocks, semiconductors, artificial intelligence and the South Korean market. It added that growth in the U.S. ETF market is accelerating.
