Crypto Week Ahead: Starknet Vote, Fables TGE, CME Listings and Major Token Unlocks

The week of Oct. 19-25 is packed with crypto market events across regulation, exchange operations, protocol upgrades and token unlocks. A non-binding Starknet community vote on whether to explore a transition into an independent quantum-resistant Layer 1 is set to close on Oct. 22, while Robinhood Chain ecosystem trading platform Fables plans its FABLES token generation event on Oct. 20. CME is scheduled to launch Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures on Oct. 19, adding both standard and micro contracts. South Korea will also meet with five major exchanges and DAXA on Oct. 20 to gather views on a virtual asset tax plan currently slated for next year. On the protocol side, Solana developer Anza says the Alpenglow upgrade will go live on mainnet-beta on Oct. 21, with expected finality reduced to about 150 milliseconds. Aerodrome and Velodrome are due to merge into Aero the same day, and Zcash developers will decide on the final mainnet activation details for NU7 after reviewing testnet performance. The calendar also includes exchange delistings, network upgrade support notices, ETF-related filings, and a series of token unlocks involving ZRO, KAITO, SOON, SOSO, XPL, H and COAI.

Crypto Calendar for Oct. 19-25: SpaceX earnings, Solana Alpenglow, and the Aerodrome-Velodrome merger

The week of Oct. 19-25 features a packed schedule for crypto markets and adjacent tech names. SpaceX is set to release its third-quarter 2026 financial and operating results on Oct. 20 after the U.S. stock market close, with an audio-only earnings call later that day. In crypto, Fables plans its token generation event on Oct. 20 with an initial circulating cap of 75 million FABLES, while Solana’s Alpenglow mainnet beta is scheduled to go live on Oct. 21 and is expected to cut finality from about 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds. Aerodrome and Velodrome are also due to begin their merger on Oct. 21, with token conversion terms already published. Other dates on the calendar include CME Group’s planned launch of BCH and UNI futures pending regulatory review, Binance’s suspension of IOTX deposits and withdrawals to support a network upgrade, and Upbit’s delisting of the ICX/KRW pair. Coinbase will halt BLAST trading after Blast’s shutdown process began, while Osmosis is targeting Oct. 20 for an on-chain vote tied to a proposal to end OSMO inflation. On Oct. 23, Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo is set for release, Venus will end support for opBNB, Optimism, and Unichain, and updated filings for a staked SEI ETF from REX Shares and Osprey Funds are set to take effect on the same date.

Fables sets Oct. 20 TGE with initial circulating supply capped at 75 million tokens

Fables, a decentralized exchange on Robinhood Chain, said its FABLES token will hold its token generation event on Oct. 20, with the ve(3,3) mechanism going live at the same time. The project also said its points campaign will be extended by two weeks because work tied to its legal structure has been delayed, with points continuing to accrue at a rate of 250 million per week through Oct. 19. Between Oct. 12 and Oct. 19, points participants must choose whether to claim liquid FABLES or lock their allocation as veFABLES. Wallets that do not make a selection will lose eligibility to claim. Fables also said the PROLOGUE snapshot will take place from Oct. 17 to Oct. 18, and that every 40 PROLOGUE can be redeemed for at least 1 FABLES. The project outlined a maximum token allocation of 1 billion FABLES. At TGE, circulating supply will be capped at 75 million tokens, including 25 million tied to PROLOGUE redemption, while points claims of up to 45 million and the initial liquidity pool allocation of 5 million to 15 million will together remain within a combined ceiling of 50 million. Team tokens will not enter circulation at TGE.

Interaction Watch on Sept. 11: BULK mainnet goes live, Fables offers LP points

Odaily’s Sept. 11 interaction roundup highlighted three crypto projects with ongoing user activity: BULK, Fables, and Polaris. BULK, a perpetual DEX in the Solana ecosystem, has launched its mainnet in an invite-only phase after ending its pre-deposit campaign, with earlier USDC deposits converted directly into trading margin. The project said its validator-embedded matching engine can match orders in 20 ms and confirm them in 40 ms, and trading in the Genesis phase continues to earn AURA points through Oct. 5 while maker fees remain at 0. Fables, a DEX on Robinhood Chain built on Uniswap v4 Hooks, is running a six-week points campaign from Aug. 24 to Oct. 5, with 1 billion points set for distribution before a planned TGE. Polaris, a permissionless on-chain yield protocol, recently disclosed a $1 million angel round backed by the Ethereum Foundation, Fusion, Altitude, Liquity, and LI.FI. Odaily also listed the access links and basic participation steps for each project.

Fables nears end of points campaign as Robinhood Chain market-maker faces token and timing questions

Fables, a dynamic-fee market-making protocol built on Robinhood Chain with a Uniswap v4 Hook architecture, is approaching the end of its six-week points campaign. The program runs from Aug. 24 to Oct. 5, 2026, and the project previously said on X that Oct. 5 would bring the close of the points program alongside the Fables token generation event, gauge launch, voting and staking. Yet documentation on fables.fi labels that date as unconfirmed, leaving a visible discrepancy between two official channels. The protocol offers liquidity provision for tokenized U.S. equity markets quoted in USDG, including ETH, GLD, SPY, AAPL and NVDA pairs. Fables says fees are assigned through three proprietary models, with a limited offchain keeper able to make temporary adjustments within pre-set bounds. As of publication, the protocol had roughly $8.4 million in deposits and about $75.3 million in cumulative trading volume. The article also lays out the project’s team background, current security disclosures, the mechanics of the points campaign, and the proposed token structure for FABLES and PROLOGUE. It notes that no independent third-party audit report with named auditors, commit hashes, scope and findings has been published so far, and that key token details, redemption contracts and eligibility snapshots remain unsettled.

PROLOGUE tops $12 million market cap after 143% 24-hour jump

PROLOGUE, a token on Robinhood Chain, has climbed past a $12 million market capitalization, according to GMGN market data cited by BlockBeats on Aug. 30. The token was up 143% over the past 24 hours, setting a new all-time high, while 24-hour trading volume reached $6.3 million. PROLOGUE is described as a pre-governance token tied to Fables, a dynamic-fee ve(3,3) decentralized exchange built on Uniswap v4. The project frames the token as the opening chapter of its broader rollout, using the line: 「every story has a beginning, this is just the prologue」. Under the project’s stated token design, PROLOGUE will convert into the formal governance token at TGE based on a dynamic ratio. That governance token is intended for vote-locking and fee-sharing. BlockBeats also noted that trading in such tokens can be highly volatile and often depends heavily on market sentiment and narrative-driven speculation, adding a risk reminder for investors.

Robinhood Ecosystem Token PROLOGUE Jumps 57x, Market Cap Exceeds $11M

Latest data from GMGN shows PROLOGUE, a Robinhood ecosystem token, has pushed its market cap above $11 million to $11.7 million, an intraday surge of more than 57 times. The token's narrative is built on expectations for the upcoming TGE of Fables, an RWA protocol on Robinhood Chain. Community participants generally view PROLOGUE as a subscription voucher issued ahead of the FABLES TGE, meaning holders can swap it for FABLES at a specified ratio. Fables is developed on Uniswap v4 Hooks and aims to provide liquidity for tokenized stocks and other real-world assets. Markets for ETH, SPY, GLD, META, NVDA, AAPL, TSLA and related assets are now live. Odaily cautions that PROLOGUE's value mainly depends on Fables' TGE expectations and market pricing. Meme coins, as a category, are known for sharp volatility, and this token is no exception. Users should therefore approach trading with caution and fully assess the risks.
