Bitcoin Asia 2026 to add corporate and capital-matching programs in Hong Kong

Bitcoin Asia 2026 is scheduled for Aug. 27-28 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Metaplanet as host and BTC Inc. as organizer. According to the announcement, the event expects more than 10,000 attendees from over 125 countries and will run a dedicated business track alongside the main summit. That track includes Deal Day, an institutional area on the show floor, and the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium. Deal Day is described as an invite-only program focused on pre-arranged 30-minute one-on-one meetings between Bitcoin companies, banks, funds and research analysts. BTC Inc. said the format builds on a previous Deal Day held during Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas, where 23 exhibiting companies and 23 investment partners took part in more than 200 structured meetings. The announcement also positions Hong Kong as a suitable venue because of its virtual asset licensing framework, approval of Bitcoin ETFs, and stated openness to institutional digital asset business. A GA+ business pass priced at $197 will provide access to the networking zone, in-app meeting booking, selected networking opportunities and priority main-stage seating, while access to the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium requires a business or Whale pass plus an invitation. Deal Day requires a separate application and credentialing process.

Shenzhen IPO wave delivers gains to state-backed investors across Chinese cities

Shenzhen is emerging as a major source of IPO-driven returns for state-backed investors across China, according to the article republished by MarsBit from the WeChat account Zhengjieju. The piece says Shenzhen has added 26 domestic and overseas listed companies so far this year, the highest total among large and mid-sized Chinese cities, and argues that many of those listings have created sizable paper gains for government capital and industry funds from outside the city. The article highlights several cases. AI storage chip company Dapu Micro listed on ChiNext on April 16 at RMB 46.08 per share and now has a market value above RMB 200 billion. Shenzhen’s Longgang district guidance fund, which invested RMB 20 million in 2019, still held 5.6991 million shares at the time of listing, with a market value above RMB 2 billion. Nanjing Qilin Venture Capital, which invested RMB 80 million in 2020 for a 5.18% stake, is described as the company’s largest state-owned shareholder. It also points to HKC Corp., listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange main board on June 26, where state-backed investors from Mianyang, Liuyang in Changsha, Chongqing, Gui’an and Chuzhou recorded gains after earlier strategic investments. The article frames this as a model of regional coordination: Shenzhen incubates technology companies, outside cities invest through equity, and manufacturing capacity is then deployed in multiple locations.

Bitcoin Asia 2026 will run Aug. 27-28 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, pairing its broader two-day event with a dedicated business and institutional program built around Deal Day and the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium. Organizers said the conference is expected to draw more than 10,000 attendees from over 125 countries, with the event hosted by Metaplanet and produced by BTC Inc., a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Nakamoto Inc. (NAKA). Deal Day is structured as an invitation-only format focused on scheduled 30-minute one-on-one meetings between Bitcoin companies and banks, funds, and research analysts. BTC Inc. said it will tailor meeting calendars in advance, with the program also including a hosted lunch, panel sessions, and a closing Deal Summit reception. The company cited data from Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas, where Deal Day brought together 23 exhibiting companies and 23 investment partners for more than 200 meetings. On the same venue floor, the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium will return to Hong Kong on Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., focusing on how companies are putting Bitcoin on the balance sheet and building supporting financial and operating infrastructure. BTC Inc. also included a forward-looking statements section outlining risks tied to Bitcoin price volatility, distribution channels, regulation, competition, integration with Nakamoto Inc., and macroeconomic conditions.
