Robinhood Wallet waives gas fees for swaps on Robinhood Chain through year-end 2026

Robinhood Crypto said Robinhood Wallet users can swap on Robinhood Chain without paying gas fees, as long as the transaction amount is more than $0.50. The offer applies to swap transactions carried out on Robinhood Chain through Robinhood Wallet. According to the announcement, the fee waiver will remain in place until Dec. 31, 2026. No other terms or limitations were disclosed in the brief update.

Variational says Omni trading API is its next development priority

Perpetual DEX protocol Variational said on X that its next major product push will be the Omni trading API, following the formal launch of its Swap feature and the continued rollout of additional trading markets. The team said all trading activity had previously been limited to its front-end interface. That is set to change soon, according to the post. Variational said traders will be able to access Omni programmatically, allowing them to trade across more than 550 live traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets already available on the platform. The update outlines the protocol’s next development focus and signals an expansion from front-end-only access toward API-based trading connectivity.

SlowMist reports that a Router contract on BNB Chain was exploited for approximately 62.28 BNB due to security flaws in its Swap entry and the uniswapV3SwapCallback function. The Router failed to verify the caller as a legitimate V3 Pool, allowing attackers to forge a pool and misuse user approvals. Users who had granted token approval to the Router are at risk of asset theft even without further interaction.

Variational Launches First Swap Markets XAU and US100

Variational has gone live with its first two Swap markets, one for XAU and one for US100. Execution costs in these markets can fall to as little as one-eighth of the cost seen on on-chain TradFi perpetual contracts. The product trades in the same way as traditional financial markets and can connect directly to TradFi dealer liquidity, helping it offer deeper market liquidity and more predictable holding costs. Swaps offer exposure to an underlying asset, much like perpetuals. The key difference lies in liquidity sources and holding costs: Swap quotes draw on TradFi liquidity, replacing a volatile funding rate with a stable holding-cost rate tied mainly to US dollar borrowing costs. Variational charges no trading fees on Swap, matching its other markets. Swap will run side-by-side with existing TradFi perpetual contracts. Over the coming months, Variational plans to add further Swap markets at a pace close to the one it has used for perpetual markets.
